Activated Alumina Balls
Robust drying media that tolerates liquid water contact
Activated alumina is chosen where the drying medium may be hit by liquid water — a condition that shatters silica gel. The spheres survive it, regenerate repeatedly, and are also used for fluoride and arsenic removal in water treatment.
