Tyvek-sealed desiccant packs
Silica Gel Desiccant Packs
Type A silica gel beads sealed one-side into DuPont Tyvek, supplied with the documentation regulated customers ask for.
DMF-free and cobalt-free with MSDS, SGS and RoHS documentation

Desiccant and indicator systems built around moisture-sensitivity levels and dry-pack procedure.
The context
Electronics is the one industry where moisture damage has a formal grading system. Moisture sensitivity levels exist because absorbed water inside a plastic package flashes to steam during reflow and delaminates the part from the inside — the failure known as popcorning. Dry packing is not optional for these components; it is specified.
Desiccant and indicator card go into the moisture barrier bag together — the desiccant does the work, the card proves it did. Multi-spot cards give a graduated reading against the RH threshold your procedure specifies rather than a simple pass or fail.
Moisture risks
Each of these has its own threshold and its own failure signature. Knowing which one you are fighting is what sets the target humidity.
Popcorning during reflow
Absorbed moisture vaporises at reflow temperature and cracks the package internally.
Dendritic growth and corrosion
Condensation on a powered board drives electrochemical migration between adjacent traces.
Contact and connector oxidation
Gold-flashed contacts and plated connectors lose reliability once oxidation starts under humid storage.
Floor-life expiry
Once a dry bag is opened the clock starts; components exceeding floor life must be baked before use.
Solder paste and flux degradation
Humidity changes paste rheology and flux activity, producing intermittent joints.
Recommended products
Tyvek-sealed desiccant packs
Type A silica gel beads sealed one-side into DuPont Tyvek, supplied with the documentation regulated customers ask for.
DMF-free and cobalt-free with MSDS, SGS and RoHS documentation
Reversible humidity indicator
Blue-to-pink indicator cards in single, three, four and six spot versions covering RH ranges from 5% to 60%.
Reads the actual humidity inside the pack, at a glance
Sealed-enclosure desiccant
Bagged desiccant for sealed enclosures where the target is a dew point, not just a humidity percentage.
Drives sealed enclosures toward a −100 °F dew point
Packed sachets
The core packed range: silica gel sealed into breathable pouches from 0.5 g to 5 kg, in Tyvek, non-woven, paper or cloth.
Fourteen standard sizes, four pouch materials, custom sizes to order
Foil sealing & shielding tape
Aluminium foil tape for thermal duty and EMI/RFI shielding.
Seals barrier packaging and shields against EMI/RFI
Sheet-form desiccant
Lightweight moisture-control sheets for flat, thin or space-constrained packaging.
Flat sheets fit where sachets will not
Compliance & documentation
Indicator cards are available in seven RH ranges including the 5–15% and 10–60% spreads commonly called up in dry-pack procedures. Desiccant packs are supplied with RoHS declaration and SGS documentation on request.
