Sealed-enclosure desiccant
Desiccant Bags
Bagged desiccant for sealed enclosures where the target is a dew point, not just a humidity percentage.
Drives sealed enclosures toward a −100 °F dew point

Protection for switchgear, motors, cabinets and installed electrical assemblies.
The problem
Electrical equipment fails from moisture in two ways: insulation resistance falls until a fault develops, and condensation on terminals drives tracking and corrosion. Installed equipment in unconditioned buildings is at risk continuously, not just in transit.
Desiccant in the enclosure during shipping and storage, breathers on equipment that vents, and indicator cards to confirm that sealed cabinets are actually staying sealed.
The method
A repeatable sequence, in the order that matters. Skipping the first step is the usual reason the rest disappoints.
Transit needs a consumable charge; installed equipment needs a regenerable one.
An IP-rated cabinet still breathes through cable glands unless they are properly sealed.
Desiccant sized to internal volume, placed in the air space rather than against components.
Vented equipment needs the incoming air treated, not the enclosure charged.
An indicator card inside the cabinet shows whether the seal is holding between services.
What you will need
Sealed-enclosure desiccant
Bagged desiccant for sealed enclosures where the target is a dew point, not just a humidity percentage.
Drives sealed enclosures toward a −100 °F dew point
Silica gel breather assembly
Clear-view and aluminium-bodied breathers with indicating silica gel, for transformers, hydraulics and fuel storage.
Regenerable in service — heat for two hours and refit
Reversible humidity indicator
Blue-to-pink indicator cards in single, three, four and six spot versions covering RH ranges from 5% to 60%.
Reads the actual humidity inside the pack, at a glance
Self-indicating desiccant
Cobalt-chloride indicating gel that shifts from deep blue to light pink as crystals, or blue to white as beads, telling you at a glance when it needs changing.
Changes colour when spent — no guesswork on replacement
Tyvek-sealed desiccant packs
Type A silica gel beads sealed one-side into DuPont Tyvek, supplied with the documentation regulated customers ask for.
DMF-free and cobalt-free with MSDS, SGS and RoHS documentation
Foil sealing & shielding tape
Aluminium foil tape for thermal duty and EMI/RFI shielding.
Seals barrier packaging and shields against EMI/RFI
