The context
What makes this sector different
Food packing has two moisture problems at once. The pack has to stay dry enough to prevent caking and mould, and the material doing the work has to be safe in contact with food. Commodities like coir, dry coconut and spices also release a lot of moisture in transit, which overwhelms a standard silica gel dose.
Our approach
Food-grade desiccant with very high capacity for the commodities that release moisture, oxygen absorbers where oxidation rather than water is the spoilage route, and container-level calcium chloride for the voyage itself.
