The problem
What actually goes wrong
Stock held through a monsoon season degrades in the warehouse rather than in transit. The usual response is to increase the desiccant in every carton, which is an expensive way to compensate for a humid building.
The answer
Work out where the cheapest intervention sits. Often it is the room: a dehumidifier sized to the space costs less than a season of over-dosed cartons. Where conditioning the building is impractical, dose the pallet rather than every unit.

A repeatable sequence, in the order that matters. Skipping the first step is the usual reason the rest disappoints.
