Pharmaceutical-grade Tyvek sachets
Silica Gel Tyvek Pouches
DuPont Tyvek pouches filled with 3–4 mm or 4–5 mm beads, made for tablet, capsule and soft-gel containers.
Non-tearable pouches for direct pharmaceutical pack insertion

Moisture control that holds up to stability testing, regulatory scrutiny and validated packaging lines.
The context
In pharmaceutical packaging the desiccant is part of the product's stability case, not an accessory to it. It has to be physically robust enough not to shed into the container, chemically documented enough to satisfy an auditor, and consistent enough that every bottle on a validated line gets the same dose.
We supply Tyvek-based formats for anything going into a primary container, because Tyvek does not tear and does not shed fibres. For automated lines, roll form and canisters dose consistently at speed. For products where a loose sachet is unacceptable, the desiccant moves into the closure itself.
Moisture risks
Each of these has its own threshold and its own failure signature. Knowing which one you are fighting is what sets the target humidity.
Hydrolytic degradation
Moisture-sensitive APIs lose potency through hydrolysis long before any visible change appears in the tablet.
Effervescent and hygroscopic formulations
Effervescent tablets and hygroscopic powders can fail within hours of a compromised seal.
Capsule shell embrittlement
Gelatin capsules crack when they dry too far and soften when they take up moisture — the window is narrow in both directions.
Dissolution profile drift
Water uptake changes tablet hardness and disintegration behaviour, moving a product outside its registered dissolution specification.
Sachet integrity
A split sachet inside a tablet bottle is a contamination event and a recall risk.
Recommended products

DuPont Tyvek pouches filled with 3–4 mm or 4–5 mm beads, made for tablet, capsule and soft-gel containers.
Non-tearable pouches for direct pharmaceutical pack insertion
Rigid HDPE canisters
Cylindrical HDPE canisters in 1 g, 2 g and 3 g, filled with silica gel or a silica gel and activated carbon blend.
Rigid body survives automated insertion at line speed
Continuous machine-fed strip
0.5 g, 1 g and 2 g sachets supplied joined in a continuous roll for machine insertion.
Feeds straight into automated pharmaceutical packaging lines
Integrated vial system
Matched desiccant caps and vials for diagnostic strips and moisture-critical small products.
Cap and vial supplied as a matched moisture-control system
Cobalt-free self-indicating desiccant
Orange-to-green indicating gel for applications that need a visual end-point but cannot accept a cobalt-based indicator.
Indicating performance without cobalt chloride
Continuous coil filler
Continuous cotton coil for automatic insertion into tablet and capsule bottles.
Coil format feeds automated bottle-filling lines
Compliance & documentation
The silica gel range is supplied DMF-free and cobalt-free, and MSDS, SGS and RoHS documentation is available for the Tyvek desiccant packs. Where a customer's market requires a cobalt-free indicating desiccant, the orange grade replaces blue.
