Argentation chromatography for unsaturated compounds
Silver nitrate impregnated silica is used in argentation chromatography, where silver ions form reversible complexes with unsaturated bonds and allow separation of compounds that ordinary silica cannot resolve. Supplied for both TLC and column work.
